Went to pick up a delivery from Fed Ex. Fun place if you like standing around waiting for NO ONE to come ask you what you need, after the people in the office tell you to go to the ramp and wait. What a freaking joke. Eventually after a half hour, I went inside, where NO ONE knew anything about what I was talking about, until I looked around and pointed out my order to them...

Retarded system they have there... although they did get a copy of my DL and make me sign in...

Huyndai.... they make trailers ? I knew they made all kinds of machinery, but tractor trailer bodies ?

I haven't had much time to work lately. I opened escrow on a house earlier this month and have been swamped with escrow, loan and other paperwork that goes along with it.

Last week I painted the high pressure and return fuel lines. Earlier this week I made a couple of small modifications to the engine wiring. Today, I installed the intake manifold plate, injectors and high pressure fuel lines. Then loaded the thermostat housing with the thermostat and seals. Yes, seals. Strange that there are 2 for this housing. Installed the alternator and torqued the brackets and water inlet connection in the sequence spec'd in the Cummins Shop Manual. Only a small handful of things to do before she's ready to come alive!

I suppose I should've started a dedicated thread for this project. It's never too late though. It would be nothing but pictures .

1942 I swapped in a 1978 Buick 231 v6 195? Sm420 4speed with the7.00:1 first gear. hybrid Dana 18/20 transfer case. Dana 44s front and rear. And of course A hydroboost. Makes for a nice "woods Jeep" (not toooo big)
It is also the easiest thing to park that I drive these days.

Outdoor paint booth, guaranteed to have flakes of dust or a small insect in your paint .

Jim's truck most certainly beats most. Mine's still an ugly sleeper. Hopefully, I'll soon have it looking just as good as Jim's. I'm waiting on that $5,000 from VW! Then, hello paint and body work!

Thanks, bud! I have an attention to detail and tend to be very meticulous about things. I try to make anything look like it came that way or at least looks like it belongs.

Oliver having fun.

I want to know why most of these trucks, except for yours, are for sale ? I particularly like the 1960's red dodge on the far left.

Looks like you have a california truck there...

I have always been fond of that one. Not sure why though
I built a pretty interesting chassis for one of these trucks Before I tore into the Dodge.
