wait to start light

Wait to start light on dash of my 1993 5.9 cummins stays on after the relay shuts off power to the grid heater and the truck is running. Any suggestions on how to solve this. Thanks!! Kenny

Is the light staying on steady or flashing? If it's flashing, it may very well be the temperature sensor.

The light comes on steady every time I start the truck, I hear the relay click, so I start the truck, the wait to start light keeps flashing and doesn't go out. If working properly should the wait to start light come on even when the engine is already warm ?

Yes, you should get a short WTS light every time, this is a PCM bulb check function.

Thanks wannadiesel, First I'll say this is a excellent forum. I've checked out 4RnrRicks post in (what are all doing on my mech eng), I'll check out the temp sensor as drooperhaley suggested and the pcm as you have suggested.
