power steering pump

I want to change my vacuum pump and power steering pump and change them for the one on my parts truck. Does this unit just slide out of the engine? Any tips to make the job easier would be appreciated.

Yep it's just that simple. A few hoses the two bolts to the gear case and the bracket from the pump to block.

Remove the oil pressure sending unit before you start & remember when you are done to put it back in before you start the truck.

^ True words of wisdom, it is very easy to snap off that sender while wrestling the pump assembly in and out.
