turbo housing

I'm buying truck parts when my tax returns come in. I want the 16cm housing for faster spool-up, right?
Tried search but got results mostly for newer stuff.

Not really sure what your question is, but this is been on my "wish list" for quite some time now.

Look quick, as it will disappear soon.

Yeah, that's the quicker-spooling one, right?

Stock on a 1990 is 18 cm I don't think you would see much difference with the 16cm. I am going to try a 14cm on mine when I get around to it.

The smaller you go, the higher and faster your EGT will climb. If I had it to do over again, I would have kept the 18. Better money spent would be on a 60mm compressor upgrade.

I agree, especially with an auto trans you only have to spool it once not every gear like a manual trans. If you use the truck for heavy loads I'd stay away from the smaller turbine housings.
