check for the little pin that rides on the fuel pin. that booger can get stuck in its bore and its like running the weakest fuel pin possible. make sense?
So, I've got it fixed. I called Gomer's Diesel in Missoula and talked to their pump guy and he said that it sounded like I had the wrong banjo bolt in the overflow valve. Turns out he was right. I had the banjo bolt that was supposed to go into the head instead of the one that goes into the back of the AFC. Swapped them out and she runs like a champ. Thanks for all of the input.
I reckon Gomer done that once hisself...
Guys have put a high flow bolt in the outlet thinking they were increasing performance, but I've never seen them swapped before.
Thanks for letting us know, between the fuel supply restriction and the lack of case pressure it's a wonder the truck ran as well as it did!

i know swapping return jets in engler alcohol injection systems will yield some serious power gains. maybe they are thinking along those lines too lol
I actually didn't swap them. It was just that the high flow one from another engine happened to be stuck in this AFC when I put it on. I didn't think much of it other than it had a bleeder bolt and the other one didn't.
