No idle after fixing leaky fuel pin

Ok I replaced the gaskets and solved my leaky fuel pin problem but now it wont idle. If you give it some throttle it will crank up and continue running as long as you give it a little throttle. I adjusted the idle screw out until it would idle against it but if you rev it up it dies when the rpms come back down to idle. I even adjusted the fuel screw thinking I had backed it to far out. I slowly adjusted it in until runaway and still didnt fix the problem. My next thought is that I didnt index the throttle correctly. Does this sound right?
