bed rail protectors

i need some bed rail protectors and i want the dimondplate ones from summit but they only sell them for fords and chevys in the older bed style. does anyone know if the f150-f350 or c and k series ones will work on a 1st gen? or if anyone knows of another place to get some that would be appersheated as well. thanks

Delta does make some for our trucks. They make the bed sides and tailgate, but no piece for the front. The other option is stainless steal ones from ICI. They are smooth with no diamond tread. They make the bed sides and front piece in polished stainless. I have a set I have not installed yet (waiting to do bedliner first). For the tailgate a company called "go industries" used to make a tailgate piece in stainless steal way back when these trucks were new. Very hard to find as the last year for it was 97. But if you can get your hands on the tailgate piece and get the ICI caps you will have a nice shiny non corroding bed rail cap set.

Friend of mine in Ga had his bed Line-X coated and he had them also do the bed rails overlapping onto the side about 1/4".....
He did have a black truck so it wasn't obvious until you got close, then it looked almost like an accent pin-stripe.
