Bed rail protectors

I'm in the market for plastic bed rail protectors for my '03 QC. Bushwacker and Wade are the only two brands that I can find. Anyone have any experience with these brands?

Thanks

MikeyB

Easy install and they fit well. I put them on my 2001 GMC that had scratched bed rails from a topper before I put the truck on consignment.

Bob

Re:Bed rail protectors

I had a spray-in bedliner (Line-X) sprayed "Over the Rail".
Protects without addition parts.

Mikey,

Be careful how the area is treated where the tape goes on. I lost one of mine on the Interstate - - happened to catch it in the mirror. Noticed the other one was loose also. Had to use 1500 wet-or-dry paper and knock the gloss off the paint right where the tape is. On like a rock now. I added more spots where taped, also. And, $75 seems to be about the normal price for them - - lots of money for a couple pieces of plastic.

Re:Bed rail protectors

I have the WADE on my truck, they look good and were cost efficient as well. You might want to use a set or 2 of drop in rail hooks as a safety factor to keep the bed rail protector from leaving your truck at highway speeds. I just used more 3m double sided tape.
