Factory Tonneau cover and diamond plate bed rail protectors
I am wondering if anyone has first hand experience if in fact the Factory Tonneau Cover (vinyl with snaps) have enough of space in the clamps to fit over the Diamond Plate Bed Rail Protectors.

For those of you who peaked and didnt know the answer...now I do and will pass it along:

First off, I went with an Extang "Black Max" bed cover rather than the factory version as it hold a heck of a lot of weight (www.extang.com). I had the Extang Classic on my Chevy and it held 14" of wet snow on top of it and didnt collapse like my friends did with the dodge cover.

Anywho (I started saying this log before the Dell geek),

The Extang tonneau will fit overtop an over the rail bedliner or over the aluminum bed rail protectors. There is enough of adjustment in the tonneau clamps to do so.

I have an Access Roll Top vinyl cover on mine. (http://www.accesscover.com/) It is the best cover I have seen and used. All my friends use them as well. One guy has had his for 4 years and it still looks brand new. The vinyl is top quality and does not crack or tear in cold weather.

Jeff

Hummin: Who made your diamond plate bedcaps?? I am looking for some black diamond plate ones, but I can't seem to find any locally (not even the brite/"normal" aluminum ones...). Any help?

More update...Mopar Running boards and stuff
Just picked up the truck from the dealership...I had the MoPar Slotted Running boards with Molded front wheelwell muckflaps installed. They look pretty slick on my regular cab longbox truck. A little more modern than the "pappy" (sorry pappyman) styling of DeeZee and such. They have molded end caps with rearward facing "dodge" embossed.

Rear molded wheelwell flaps look good too. Have the Ram head on them. Was debating getting the ones from Cummins with the Blue C on them but stuck with the Dodge cersion.

Will have to get some picks taken and find someone to post/host them for me.
