well, i found my problem! the stupid plug i couldn't find the hole for, i guess that was for the OD solenoid? 
anyway, she shifts into OD now. I had a bunch of codes, though i'm assuming a few of those will clear up now that i put that plug in it's home. 
I'll check it again tomorrow just for fun.
