Truck stalled, lost power to most of the fuses in fuse panel help!!!
I just finished changing my engine mounts on my 91 dodge cummins w250 and when i took it out of the shop i got about 25 feet and the truck shut down..... i checked all my inline fuses there all good, but i dont got power to almost all the fuses in the fuse panel, im guessing that is the problem but i dont know how to fix it or why this would even happen please help!!

Check for fusible link wires coming off the battery that may have burnt or corroded off. If the wire stretches when pulled means it has burnt out and needs to be replaced..

the previous owner of the truck cut out all of those and put regular fuses in the wire, i found what fuse is making the truck shut down but the fuse isnt the problem it doesnt seem.. its not blowing but if i pull the fuse and put it back in the truck will run temporarily and stall again...
could it be a short??

the orange wire with the curcit breaker in it is the one i seem to be having the problem with.. today i tried to start the truck and it fires up and before it could even run the truck shuts back down again and the curcit breaker is really hot..
i know the wiring is a mess the guy who owned it before must not have liked wiring very much lol..

That's what we call in the business a hack job. You're lucky truck hasn't caught on fire yet. I see many bare wires, one wire looks like a melted fusible link wire just above the circuit breaker and orange wire, looks like it burnt up. There's a burn mark on top of washer bottle. The short might be after ign switch, since it does start but excessive current draw is killing ignition feed to engine fuel solenoid. I would check ignition switch wiring for any melted or shorted wires first. Tape up any bare wires and make sure no wire are grounding out or melted together.

yeah when i seen it too i was like wth? but i found out it was to replace the spliter that powers the radios and windows and what not.. going to try to cut it out and do something else, but as per the problem i am having a taced the wire all the way to the cab and couldnt find a short.. but the wire is spliced into and runs to the computer that is mounted on the drivers side fender.. i dont know if that could be the problem since i am losing power to almost all of the fuses in the fuse panel kinda stumped...

Go back through all the steps you took when you changed the engine mounts. I suspect you may have lifted up the engine with a jack and possibly pinched some wiring that runs down the back of the engine and along the top of the bell housing.

Do you have good grounds?. These trucks are prone to ground problems, especially in the rust belt. I don't think you can have too many grounds...Mark
