How to keep exhaust temp down

How to keep exhaust temp down when I pull in the hills with 9000 lb behind me and 2300lb in the bed.
Truck is a 1993 D350 5 speed 3:54 in the rear.
Can I give it some more fuel by turning the pump up.
I have the smaller exhaust housing so it spools fast.
And 4' exhaust.
When I'm empty exhaust jumps up to 1000 if I hammer on it.
Can anyone give me some idea what I'm up against.
Out side temp today is 91.
Thanks to everyone on the 1st Gen forum.

From: A 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.
as long as it doesnt stay about 1225*f for more than a few seconds you dont really have anything to worry about. my truck runs like 1600*f if i hammer on it, and thats with no load at all!

I have made the pull loaded but at that time I had 4:10s

Our trucks are factory rated for 100% duty-cycle at 1250*F (preturbo).

That means you can run it all day long at 1250*F (preturbo) with no ill effects.

That's a little over 800 at the bend at full torque, about 900 at full hp.

My injectors are worn out. I find that pulling a hill in OD (automatic) and a tight Goerend converter at 1800, it'll tend to overheat. Third gear at 22-2300 rpm and it builds more boost and cools down, same hill.

Pre turbo temps.
I have not made the trip yet.
When it had 4;10s the truck pulled it like a Mack truck top speed was only 72 or 76 mph mashed to the floor. It did like going 55-60.
I would think if I take it easy and keep the speed at 60 it should be fine.
What will turning the psi do for all of this.
