Trans Swap

If I get a truck with an auto can I swap over to a manual in the future? Is it a bolt in deal? any differences between 4wd and 2wd? any years that don't swap? Any threads or info Online about this. I'm finding more autos out there than manuals. I'm just thinking if I find the almost perfect truck. Thanks, Marvin

Marvin, just do a search on trans swap. There are many threads on this subject. I have done this conversion myself, and can help with any specific questions.
