Timing help in Phoenix AZ area
As Eric from HD and Oliver has said you do not need to time the IP before installing it...you can rotate the IP seven times and install it and it should fire up and run fine. As long as the gears in the timing case have not jumped a tooth you should be fine.
You said that you installed a timing spacer...I had one on my IP for several years and had nothing but problems with it, motor had noises and lack of power from to much advance even at the stock pump settings. Also check to make sure when up to operating temperature that there is no power running o the KSB, the timing spacer with a bad air intake temp sensor that constantly feeds power to the KSB will have you running way to much advance. But after my problems with the timing spacer I removed it and things went back to normal and I have not regretted removing it...only that I didn't do it sooner.

Seems like there is a lot going on here.. low power, low boost, could mean so much to mean. Valve lash, air filter, fuel filter, lift pump, turbo acting up (bent fin), injectors not spraying right.. fuel lines.. rubber hoses cracked on the supply? Check the water fuel separator, full of water bad sensor? Maybe start with the simple things.

OK Eric installed the spacer when the pump was redone and it worked flawlessly forever other then the fuel in oil issue took the pump off and resent to eric he redid it and now no fuel in oil but boost went from 25 to 15 and it really sounded tinny so I moved the IP towards engine as much as I could ..sounds better but still not the same as before..fuel did go down from 290 cc to the current 210 or so per Eric...Not sure if that would affect the boost so much and it is definitely getting the oil much blacker and it seems to struggle more pulling my 12000 weight..temps area bit higher as well into the 1100-1200 range under full load.
Not sure what else it could be as I didn't change anything at all other then taking the IP out and reinstalling, not sure how it would have jumped a tooth since the engine was not moved at all while sitting there...I was going to change the fuel filter and the air cleaner and see if that makes any difference

Sounds like good things to do ..will do fuel filter and Air filter first and see!
UPDATE..cleaned the air filter...keep in mind here it's all dirt and dust streets..it may have had a bit too much on the filter maybe a pound of dirt! ..what you think?
