Tie rod issues....
The diesel center link, with the gasser tie rods was all bungled together from previous owners who actually did the CTD conversion. I'm just the one trying to fix things and get it safe for the road. I will upgrade everything properly a bit down the road, need to get a set of D250/350 diesel steering knuckles with the bigger taper first.

Even though my 84 crew is a D350 one ton, with a 4000lb front axle, it still came from the factory with the smaller 9/16 steering knuckles, tie rods and sleeves. I'm guessing the big 5/8 tie rods and such didn't come into being until the cummins showed up under the hoods of rams.
