Tech Manual

Which is the best tech manual for our trucks? Should I just buy one at the local auto parts store?

Also, I am looking for a push bar, where can I get one of those? thanks.

The Chilton's and Haynes books are next to useless. They have zero info on the diesel engine, and not a lot of info on the rest of the truck. You need a factory service manual. They pop up in Ebay pretty regularly, and Geno's Garage sells reprints AFAIK.

Not 100% sure, but I think www.techauthority.com still sells them. Need to call them, not on the list on the 'net anymore. That is where I got my FSM for the '97.
