Question stupid??

Maybe Im just a bonehead but just to be sure should I be turning the idle screw clockwise or counter to get it backed down? At this point Im not too ashamed to ask anything .This is in reference to my last post about 5 min ago.

Counter-Clock wise will back the screw out, lowering the idle . . . . . . . assuming your linkage will allow it. If you've not been running up the fuel screw, you should be OK with just the idle screw.

Hope this helps.
