Alright a couple of you have read my last 2 posts from the past hour and sent me some good advise ,so heres where I am now,Ive got the idle pretty good, when I initially start up it sounds right, however, when I give it gas its like the throttle is hanging up or something and it just continues to gain rpms, any ideas??? Yes, you still have the power screw in a tad too far. Back it out another 1/2 turn.

Mine acts like it wants to run away when I reach about 17-1800rpm. Keep my foot still, and it wil lgain RPMs til I let up a hair. But, if yours is revving up right off idle, you could well be close to runaway. It may be time for new springs- if the governor isnt wanting to come back down from orbit, something could be sticking in the governro assembly. These things are incredibly siensitive to the slightest movement or out of adjustment condition. If the internals are right, you should be able to flow some serious fuel before you runaway.
