New engine new issue
So i decided to put a brand spanking new p-pumped 12 valve in my truck WOW what an awesome idea that was only problem i have run in to when i went to put my tps from the ve pump on i found the p- pump turns it opposite from the ve so i bought a new tps for that application and went to adjust it for proper voltage reading my scanner shows it reads backwards full throttle all the time.I have rotated the ground and signal wire to opposite sides and now reads correct but i still can not get my overdrive to lock. What have you guys done when you swap over to p-pump????
Is everything else the same as it was before? VSS for instance? Or the correct distance on the cable from where it comes in to the throttle mechanism? It seems like these automatic trannys need the planets aligned in order for OD to work.
Oh, what about the temperature? It needs to be warmer than... uh-oh, can't remember what it's supposed to be... 35°? Does that sound right?

Yes same tranny my speedometer works so i sure vss is OK.I have jumped both temp sensors and still no luck.Driving with scanner shows its not being commanded by computer I'm going to run a wire down to OD plug and see if i can get it to work.Oh and i do have 12 volts down to the solenoid.
