Stomp's 700hp big green W250 made it into Diesel Power magazine , Page 85

 

Yeah, saw it a few days ago. Sweet!!! HX40/BHT3B combo seems kind of tame for those numbers, makes me wonder how he gets all that power. I guess like Josh Ayers says, it's all in the tuning... AND he streets it! That's one awesome truck.
Did you see the Ramcharger on pg 120? Dang, that thing is quick!!!

 

Yeah i did see that, I was wondering when he was gonna get in there cuz thats somethin that oughta be in there! Those twins do seem a little small for his power, and i just kept thinkin to myself that theres gotta be more you can get out of these VE's... I wouldn't be surprised if someone breaks 700 hp on just fuel in the next 2 years with a VE.

 

i just picked up the mag today and wondered why no one had said anything... where do his lines from the afc tophat go?

 

i have to say that one thing I noticed when they were talking about stomp's truck is that he's still running the 'Rag ...

given their reputation on DTR, I thought a 'Rag would puke it's guts out way before 700hp

He doesn't short shift the tranny and doesn't lug it. Those are what kills the Rag.
