SRW vs. DRW front hubs question

Hi
I am thinking of making my SWR W350 into a DRW. I can buy the Arrowcraft adaptors for the front. But I am looking into other options. Does anyone know if I can put on DRW front hubs?

Thanks Dean

The hubs and rotors are different, but the spindles, brake brackets, stub shafts, and calipers are the same. So, if you find a set of hubs and rotors, you can just do the swap.

Don't forget, though, that in 91.5 they changed the front brakes over to the "chevy" style. So, if you find later model parts, you will need to swap the calipers and brackets as well.

Good luck,

Alec

Alec,

Thanks for the info. I haven't decided which way to go yet. And chevy style brakes huh. Maybe that is why my brakes have always sucked

I have never had a truck with the "Dodge" brakes, but I know the rotor is not as thick, and I have heard that they suck even worse . . . At least parts are more common for the late trucks -- in fact, I was just at an auction where a guy bought four chevy trucks with the parts you need for $50 a pop . . .
