Having a shop sure is nice.
I built it in three stages using 100% wood milled from trees off the property [other than the plywood] and built by me and a friend. We did everything - ground prep, concrete form / work, radiant heat, built the trusses out of my own 2x4s on site, set the trusses with a lift I rented, tin roofing, insulation work, used garage doors off Craigslist, even the electrical was run by us.

Do you heat the entire building or have some of it blocked off?

I put 2 inch blue foam board over two of the three garage doors. That helps quite a bit. I only have radiant tube in the main garage. The side "wing" which is 20x76, that I use for winter storage / parking stays warm, but the floor is not heated.

I spend quite a bit of the summer putting up the 10 cords of hardwood it takes to heat the shop and house. I have no other heat source but wood.

That is a LOT of wood to cut and split. No wonder why you are skinny.

Well it is nice enough outside to get Poncho out of the shop for the first ride of the summer.
Last year I was noticing it was idling a little low when it warmed up. Today it stalled in a parking lot as I was parking, it was idling so low.
I do not think it is a fuel delivery problem as I still get my 35 PSI boost when in 3rd and 4th on hills giving it the beans. I have no sputtering or low fuel issues when at WOT.

When I got home I turned the fuel screw in 1/2 a turn and got my warm idle back where it should be. Might get a little more power out of it too.
Easier than messing with the low idle screw setting!

My daughter has this week off work. We took Poncho out for an late afternoon fishing trip. I caught one elusive native brookie, so it was not just a lure washing trip. The water is still pretty cold as there is still snow in the woods, and / or at higher elevations.

The new idle adjustment via turning the fuel screw seemed to do the trick as the truck ran great. It is starting to feel like spring.

So wonder what changed to make the full screw make the difference?

I was out on the water a lot two weeks ago. Didn't do any fishing - just commuting due to the flood waters!

Anytime you turn the fuel screw in to make more power, expect the idle to go up.
I had noted the past couple years that the peak WOT power seemed a little down from 8 years ago. That was when I did the 2nd gen intercooler swap, HX 35 upgrade and tuned the VE pump for more fuel to match the cooler / more volume of air it was getting.
Hard to really tell when your butt is the only dyno you use to rate max power.

Looks like I got the last ride of the season in Poncho last weekend on a lunch outing with my daughter.

It has been snowing almost every day this week and the salt trucks have been out.
Time to stuff it into the heated shop for the winter.

Took Poncho out yesterday to pick up my fishing and buck / bear hunting combo tags for the year. Took a class 4 road on the way home that is snow-machine trail over the winter. Snow is pretty much gone, but there are no bugs yet due to most night are still getting below 32F. Pretty cool putting down the trail in 2nd gear. It was a really nice, mostly sunny 70F day out.

It was awesome to be out driving the old 1st gen again.

Not being from New England nor Vermont, I had to look up Class IV Road. Sounds like the perfect leisurly route for a poptop RamCharger!

I reckon down here they'd be referred to as an old county, logging, mining or forest service "road". In central KY most every public road is now paved although there are still a few minor ones that are gravel.
