Hard folding preferred, thanks!

 

I have sen one hard tonneau cover on a 1st gen Dodge before.
The guy it down and reformed it from another truck.

 

Probably going to hard to find a company that makes or carries one for these trucks, try getting some bed measurements from a chevy/ford truck since they all have a very similar box dimensions from around the 80-90's area and you might be able to find one for a Chevy/Ford easier than a dodge.

 

I just ordered this one, I'll report back after it arrives.

Like I said I have never seen one made specifically for a 1st gen Dodge.

 

I would measure a couple other popular pickup boxes for size... Like 73-87 Chevy, 88-98 Chevy, and 80-96 Ford. Most trucks newer than those got into unique shapes/sizes and even tapered along the length.

Ive had some success with Ford canopies and bedliners on my dodges. (Ford inner fenders are lower/smaller than dodge though.)

 

not a hard cover but a folding tonneau cover a company by the name of EXTANG mine is a trifecta 2.0 it is a short bed but i would bet they could do a 8 ft if you could live with a folding type cover
