Question Quick question!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning I am going to measure for a new accesory belt and will be getting one to ditch the fan pully. To do this I will need to relocate the crank possition sensor.

My question is, for the near future can I just unplug and remove the stock crank sensor and run the truck till I buy the tach and relocate it?

I'm pretty sure OD won't work, and the battery won't charge if the cps isn't functioning.

Charging system will not work. A/C will not kick in. But you can run and drive the truck until the battery dies - unless you are a member of the pull-cable club. If that's the case, just park on hills and use hand signals.
