hello all! you folks have a cool thing going here. i'm the proud new owner of a beat, up old, high mile 93 350 (D or W, what's the difference?) now that i'm entering the world of both turbos and diesels, i have got a whole list of questions but i will only bother with a couple this time. i changed my oil today (i always wanted a vehicle i could put 3! gallons in) to get to the filter, i took the pre turbo air stuff off and looked at the insides of a turbo for the first time. the fan had about a 1/16" play in it. got kinda scared and read ALL of the posts on this forum. found one that said this is expected, but not how much. i didn't mess with it too much, but i don't think it was rubbing on anything. well, i guess that's enough for now. thanks for the time.
