Question for those that did piston LP swap

I'm doing a piston LP swap on my truck.

The hold up is that the line is not readily available through my Cummins house (Southern Plains). The guy ordered it, but it has been awhile and still no part. He made sure I'm still on the list, so he's done his part.

Did all of ya'll have to wait for your line to be shipped directly from mother Cummins? How long was the wait?

Gracias,
Kevin

I didnt have to wait for the parts at all. I just called Cummins in San Leandro Ca with all my part numbers and they had them, so I drove a little over an hour to get them and drove back.

If you call them I guarantee they have the part. They might even be able to ship to you that day so your not waiting on some kind of list.

I ordered my parts from Cummins in Columbia SC, had the parts the next day.

One thing I noticed (I havent finished my install yet): My Piston pump (Sourced from Advanced Auto) required a 3/4" NPT to 1/2" NPT Bushing, I dont recall anyone mentioning this in any of their install narratives

Interesting,

Mine fit right in... Didnt require any extra parts... Did you have to go to the store any buy these or did they come in the box?

When I ordered mine It came from a Engine plant back east somewhere instead of the normal wharehouse. And yes I order my stuff from a genuine "Cummins" shop. Might want to try that route if all else fails. Jethrro

Update...

It arrived yesterday, so the wait was about 3 weeks. I didn't mind too much though, as I was still recovering from my trans buildup, so I really needed to wait a few weeks before I let loose of another 200 bucks anyway.
