Have a 93 D350 duallywith 106,000 miles on it. Noticed I was having a little seepage on pinion seal but had plenty of oil in it. Now starting to make a noise and upon checking found do have small amount of movement in front pinion brg. Has anyone else encountered this and is this premature for this mileage? Rear end in question is a Dana 70.

Anyone have any idea what thecost of this repair would be?

 

Check and make shure that the nut that holds the yoke on hasen't backed off.

 

If you caught it before the gears got chewed up, all it will cost is bearings and a seal - plus about an hour labor if you have it done.
