PDR HX 35 hybrid compressor size

Does anyone know off hand what size the HX 35 hybrid compressor wheel is from Piers? HTT has the 58mm for the H1c backordered, maybe till June or later so I am looking at other options

Normally the 58mm wheel, the 60mm wheel is the same price, if you wanted that one

h1c is 52mm, at least on non-i/c trucks.

To the best of my knowledge non ic h1c was 52mm, interecooled h1c was 54mm, hx 35 to 1988.5 was 56mm, it went back to 54mm in 1998.5 and up years. I think the wh1c was a 56mm wheel but not sure...... Anyone know for sure on the Wh1c? (I've learned a lot lately)

How about the exhaust turbine, not the housing, what is the size differences between hx40 and hx35 there?

Dixie, I havent found any information on turbine size. You might want to talk to someone at Piers or HTT.
Wannadiesel, thanks for the verification.

Well I was just wondering, see if it is about the same as the hx35 and I did not need the full hx40 it would be easy to cobble up a hybred 35 with a full four inch exhaust outlet. Just sort of thinking of possibilities.

putting a 40 housing on a 35 will NOT work very well at all. i tried. if you had a good shaft from a 40, you could put it in along with the housing though. but if you've got those parts, you prolly have the center section for the 40 too.

If I recall correctly the shaft in the '35's is the same one that is in the '40's....

The 40 uses a larger wheel and the same shaft which is one reason why, at higher boost levels (usually over 40psi) with "throttle let off" they can twist a shaft due to the larger rotational mass trying to stop...immediately...
