Question >>> part numbers = ve plunger springs ??? <<<

I have searched diligently throughout the site, and also studied closely several times the exploded parts diagram in the "sticky".

The plunger assembly is barely shown poking out of the head, but with no reference numbers and nothing in the parts-list that makes sense to me.

Can someone supply me with the correct BOSCH part-numbers for the plunger-springs and any other accompanying pieces that would be necessary should one dis-assemble a pump and find that the springs are broken ??

I did find a complete set up on E-Bay; the plunger springs, spring-seat gizmo, and all for $49.

That price to me just seems too good to be true.

Does that price seem like cheap China copies or genuine BOSCH stuff ??

Thanks.

One of my core pumps has broken springs. And I too was looking at that set-up on E-bay. I think this is a fairly common problem, so the parts are readily available and I think that's why the price is so cheap.

I'm pretty sure a couple guys here on the DTR have replaced their broken springs with this kit off E-bay. Can't recall any one having problems with it.

Bosch 1 467 010 410 is the kit I used in my pump. $50.35 at Redding Fuel Injection, Redding, CA.
They also told me it was a common failure.

The broken plunger springs in a VE is very common. if you are going to pull the pump apart its very wise to put a new set of springs in. ken

It appears that I did; a lot of bad water has passed under the bridge since then; I am glad someone can keep track of my doings; obviously I ain't.
