Hey guys! Ok so I just got my new 1993 250 diesel today it runs GREAT! Ok i'm not sure if my oil pressure switch is reading correctly but its seems to be hanging around the 1-2 L side marks. Is that about right? I also notice when I stepped on the gas to get on the highyway it came up just past the second L mark then it hanged around there for awhile even when I idled and the about 30min later it went back down. It's barely moving so i'm just worried that its to low or if its just the switch going bad. I also believe the truck has been sitting for some time because it smells musky and about anything thats rubber is starting to fall apart. The winshield blades rubber fell apart when I turned them on. Also the truck has no a/c and power brakes aren't working and.....the odometer isn't working as well. The brake and abs lights are on of course but I think its just the speed sensor. Anyway hope yall can give me an idea! thanks joe

 

The oil pressure gauges on these trucks are really junky. Usually the sending unit goes out. I'd reccomend just getting a stand alone mechanical gauge if you want accurate readings.

 

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak or a bad vacuum pump. That explains everything about the brake warning lights.
