The last two weeks the normal, mild rattle/buzz from the t. case lever has increased dramatically. I'm noticing new gear noise when decelerating, especially at low speeds. The noise seems to be less when I turn off the OD. Yesterday, I was hearing all kinds of strange noises and wondered if the &quot;brick&quot; would make it home. Now it's making a pulsating gear noise when coasting. The trans. fluid is pink, smells OK, and the shifting is good other than the usual TPS problems. In the past, sometimes when accelerating onto the freeway it wouldn't shift down and would really grrrrowl.<br>What do you guys think?<br>Chris

 

Just an update for the few of you who might care :'( :'(<br>Had it diagnosed by two shops - same results. OD bearink ist kaput. Will probably wind up with a total rebuild - one thing leads to another! : It won't be a DTT trans. but I haven't got that kind of money anyway.
