dumb question. Where is it? 91 w250 on sig. I may be slow, but I've never needed it except for now. I bought a new toy. The OBDI chrysler cable for the actron scan tool. hehe

well, according to the transmission shop, I need to plug in and check the codes. His exact words: If theres an ECU theres an OBDI connector. I was also able to purchase the cable for the 89-93 chrysler. Any other takers? I didnt think there was one either.

I have one on mine. It is under the drivers hood hinge. It sits on the inner fender basically beside the fusible links. Looks square with one corner cut out.

you can turn the key on-off-on-off-on without starting the truck, the check engine light will flash just count the flashes and watch for pauses. Theres only about 15 codes.

They made some BIG changes between 1991 and 1991.5, other than a simple controller to for a few minor cold start functions our engine and transmissions are purely mechanical.
We have the only trucks that will start and drive after an EMP burst.

I just went out and looked at my own personal 91.5 truck.
That diagnostic connector is right next to the grid heater relays below the left hand hood latch.

Yeah, I did that orig. But have since smoked two transmissions. Hoping for a more perm solution. I seem to be misadvised about my trans having lockup. Well 2000 bucks later I have a solid trans. Guess I will continue with my OD switch and hope for the best. Thanks wannadiesel.
