Not pluged in?

Well I was going through some wiring on my 1992 and tilted my glovebox all the way down and looked inside of the dash and found a square box that looked like a computer that was unpluged. The plug has around 10 wires. Does anyone know what this box is and maybe know why it unpluged. Any help would be great

It's the ABS controller. Unplugging it was the first thing I did when I bought my truck. A friend of mine rear ended a car when his decided to release the rear brakes when a car that he was following stopped quickly in front of him.

ABS was invented for those who can't drive.

ABS has kept my truck from swapping ends more than once. I like it.
