Long story short I leveled my truck, and now it doesn't turn worth a bean. Will a drop pitman arm give me a little more travel? I think they're longer as well as lower. Where Do I get one, and how do I know how much?

Check Rough Country, Rancho and places like that.

Its really to bad that Dodge didn't do like GM and put an adjustable drag link on there trucks.

Please share more details! What leveling kit did you do? 2" front lift? I'm about to order alcans, he said the stock pittman arm might work, but recomended a 2" drop. I think skyjacker has them for around $45

those are supposed to prevent bump steer, as the suspension collapses, pulling and pushing the tie rod, another option is a spacer block over the steering knuckle, i think i got mine from procomp, it brings the arm up 4".

Ok, here's what I did. Springs are junk, didn't replace them, just made shackles and spring hangers that are 2" longer. I would think that the truck would sit at the right height, but the stock shocks are almost fully extended now, and the pitman doesn't appear to be lining up as it should, and I can't turn worth a bean.

you need to get the adjustable drag link from rough country I think. also their kit that raises the top of the knuckle as well. A drop pitman arm puts more stress on the steering box and frame. Its relatively expensive if I remember. The ultimate solution is to go to crossover steering.

I have heard that you cannot do crossover steering without at least 4" of lift, which I do not have, and do not plan on adding. Thanks though, i will look into rough country!
