Just bought my first cummins its a 93 250 regular cab flat bed 5 speed 4x4 and im in heaven, I got it bought right and its a good solid truck. I have been dreaming of owning a first gen truck for awhile and sort of have a plan in mind for mods but any tips or advice is welcome. My first mods of course are guages a kdp tab and all the free pump tweaks, then 3200 rpm spring and a fuel pin, not sure which one?? then down the road looking at bosch 190 or dynomite diesel 50hp injectors, and a turbo upgrade (not sure which way to go here either?) also upgrade intake and exhaust system at some point. This is a farm truck so it doesnt need to be crazy fast but I will be doing some pulling with it but also alot of general driving so hoping to maintain decent mpg. Any ideas and help are appreciated, thanks in advance this is a great forum.

Lift pump would be my suggestion with a fuel pressure gauge. Then just go threw old posts here, nearly everything has been covered more than once.

 

Welcome to the forum! I would suggest first things first:

Get some gauges installed first, know what your truck is doing before you try to ramp it up. Then do a simple search for modifications you are thinking about. You will find them all already on here in great detail.
