New family member!!

Welcome the newest member of the family. Actually scored a really good deal on this. 91.5 d250 auto. It runs and drives. Not too sure what i'm going to do with it yet. I'd like to eventually swap my 93, but it's just a little too nice to cannabalize like that right now. For now it's probably just going to get road worthy again use it as a work truck. Since i've redone my 93 I am petrified of taking it to home depot to get a pallet of anything, or even having people help me load or unload it. This might be the perfect candidate to be a work truck for a while. haha!

Pretty nice looking starting point.

Be aware that '91.5 Cummins trucks have some small quirks over the '92/'93 trucks. Mostly the half year only wire harnesses and PCM, even though it still has a voltage regulator.

Congrats on the new acquisition!

One of the reason I'll never have super nice paint on my truck or any of my vehicles to be honest, just that stress of nicks, dings and scratches, been there and done that.....No thank you!

It does run and drive. Well, drove on and off the trailer anyway. He said it was parked because the trans is bad. The symptoms he was telling me sounded more like the overdrive solenoid, but i'm not real savvy on the auto's

I did notice the voltage regulator, and it brought me back to my 84' the wiring is a bit of a mess at first glance. Fuseable links broke and hanging, many wires straight from the battery and stuffed through a grommet on the firewall. I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet, my goal this weekend is to see if I have any other goodie's besides another turbo, 6 tires, and two ratchet straps hidden in the bed. haha
