My injection pump wouldn't budge!

So, I recently did the 3200 gov spring- there were only 2 nuts on the pump, the one on the bottom seems to be missing, are there 3 by the cover (edit, I see Dave's writeup, I'll replace the missing one) And I found the 8mm bolt with the 10mm head on it to the rear on the pump on the flat bracket. Is there something else I was missing? I couldn't find any other thing holding it and it seemed loose on the front side. Do you have to pry on something (don't worry I didn't pry anything- I was terrified to!)? I did tug on it pretty hard and it wouldn't budge...

I also made an exhaust- turbo back which I made from two 06 stock systems, the truck really likes it. The entire cost was $45 for some tubing and an adapter Not to mention my old exhaust was nearly pinched shut back by the axle, my cruise EGT around town is now about 450, it was almost 700! My full load screw is maxed and just about every other screw/diaphragm but I think I'm happy with how good she gets it for now

A healthy rap on the AFC housing with a soft mallet will usually break a stubborn pump loose. Combine that with a rachet strap pulling the pump towards the head and you'll get it

On mine I put a 5/16 bolt in one of the ears on the bracket that is right next to the shutoff solenoid. Used a 3" long or so bolt with two nuts and tightened it in the hole. Then put a pry bar under the bolt and on top of the flat area on the pump rear of the pump up against the shutoff solenoid. Moved it nice and easy.

Make sure you remove the banjo bolt from the AFC housing - that will stop it every time.
