lost boost after bumping timing help

So i went and bumped my timing. I tried to get it as close to 1/8 in. as possible. I might be a bit over its hard to tell, but when i started running the truck today i noticed that i lost roughly 4-5 pounds of boost. normally i can get up to 23-25 pretty easily and now im hitting 20-22 pounds of boost.
Has anyone else experienced this after bumping their timing? or did i screw it up?

Add more fuel?

How do you like the alcans and bilsteins? I might go that route but only 2'' lift.

Yeah I love em both. I had to move the rear hangers back 3 3/4'' but other than that smooth ride.

Have you played with the starwheel? Might help light the turbo quicker like it did before the bump, gain those boost numbers back.

Yes I hear it is normal,
I went from 56 PSI boost down to a more conservative 40ish PSI boost. (still off the end of the gauge)

Also i did the bump for the fuel millage. Thinking maybe a lower boost will help my mpg? but still want to know what the star wheel is tho.
