Wink Looking for a D250

hey,

I'm looking for a D250 Diesel, MANUAL. I can't find a manual anywhere. I'm starten to think tha they didn't make a manual with the diesel. If they did they are very hard to find. All the ones i looked are auto's. Starten to get a little fustrated.

They're all in Texas. That's where mine came from. I bought it off Ebay because I couldn't find a decent one near me for a price I was willing to pay.

Actually, my experiance dictates that they are all in Texas... It isn't exactly a joke.

I think that the people who buy manuals are the owners who want longetivity and know that they are going to be having their truck for a long time. And since they are all keeping their trucks, then they obviously aren't for sale.

I had to settle for an automatic myself. You can tell us where you live, then we might be able to pay attention for you.

(I bet you live in Texas, don't you...)

hahaha, naaa i actually live in Massachusetts. Texas is so friggin far away. I wonder how much it would cost to ship one from texas to here. Cause i really want a Manual. I don't like auto's they aren't fun. Its either this truck or a Chrysler 300C.

The reason only Texas has manuals is the rest of the country knows the truck is going to rot out before the tranny dies so why bother

You just have to look hard -- and pay.

I bought my truck here in MA -- paid a little too much, but you have to count the convenience factor. Just after I bought my truck, saw a '93 advertised for $6k in Pittsfield w/ a manual transmission, Fisher plow, and flat-bed. Had probably been beat on, but still, it was there.

I think there is a correlation between Left wing politics and lack of desire to use the left leg while driving, but I don't have any good statistical data to back it up .

Be PATIENT, and check ebay.
I bought one in NC. I looked for over two months.
93 model, 5spd, under $5k, good clean truck. It needs stuff but I drive it EVER.. day!
