Hey folks,
Like the title states i am looking at buying a 1992 W350 Dually 5 speed manual. Looking to get as much info as i can about the specs on these trucks.

engine hp, transmission make/model #, axles make/model #'s, transfer case make/model #, probable diff ratio, etc etc etc

anything else one can tell me about these trucks, maybe common problem areas

It's got an NP205, D60 front and D70 rear. Trans is a Getrag G360.

Rated at 160 HP/400 TQ but capable of a little more.

Common problems: Roof rust, frame cracks by the steering box.

 

Very hard to find. Atleast one that isnt beat to death. Normally if someone purchased a dually they bought it to tow. My dad bought a 93 last year but it was an auto. I did a nv4500 swap this spring. He loves it. But gems are still out there. Good luck with your search.

 

Good luck it would take a lot to sell mine... They are hard to come by..
