Back in 2003, I bought a 1993 D250 extra cab with 125,000 miles on it. Came with a Leer camper shell and a U.S. gear exhaust brake. Had that truck for around 3 years, maybe 4. Then turned around and sold it for $9500. All I did to it was boost, pyro, and transmission temp gauges, 4" exhaust, and a BD torque converter. Sold it without the camper shell or exhaust brake. Think I did pretty good on that deal. At least I recovered the cost for the upgrades.

There was no 4 door cabs available in '93 was there? Unless it was a military truck. They might not have even had them as a miltiary truck either.

I believe the last four-dour, "Crew Cab" was in 1985. The only non-standard cab version offered in 1993 was the Club Cab. The military plus state and local governments were a big buyer of the older crew cabs.

Hard for me to understand exactly what the poster is trying to convey due to spelling, syntax and punctuation...

On Moparts there used to be a 4 door that a guy built. Red/white, it was a beauty. Had the '93 nose.

They're popular! Fortunately we have several here on the forum that have them or are in the process of making what Dodge should have - an old school crew cab Cummins...

'85 is the last year for a Dodge Crew cab. Dodge lost the Govt. contract to Chevy that year and as they where the main buyer of the crews, Dodge stopped making them.

Yes a Cummins powered Dodge crew cab is a nice ride. I have 2 - 12V powered, 5 speed '85 crews, one looks like it is a lifted, but stock '85 till you open the hood or spy the huge exhaust. The other looks like it would if Dodge built one in '92, with the later grille, steering column, D-60F with the Warn hubs, diesel dash and wiring.

I just got a 89 350 for $1200 with 99K on the clock. It was a flatbed. Pulled the bed for another truck. It has a Getrag. Engine and trans is going in my 77F250 crew. The cab is in good shape and I will be selling it. Dash is good, grill and fenders are bent. Frame will be used on other projects.

That sounds like a deal too good to be true. Even if it was an abused D350.

Not my best deal but not bad. I got a 95 2500 flatbed for $800 about 10 years ago with 220K on the clock. It was an abused but I had it running and driving in 30 minutes by replacing the lift pump. Always on the lookout.
