91 Dodge 250 - good deal?
Hi all! New on this site. Had a look at a 91 Dodge 250 3/4 ton with the Cummins diesel. about 230,000 miles, no rust, heavy duty suspension, air bags (Had a big camper on it that recently sold), AC. Seems well maintained. Owner would sell it for around $7K US. Transmission was rebuilt a couple of years ago. Does that sound like a good deal? I could then buy a suitable camper for my needs and put it on next year. Thoughts?

P.S. didn't mention that it's a 4x4 model. And that I'm located in the North-East, where a rust-free specimen seems to sell for more money, given the ravages of salt roads up here in the winter...

This should probably be posted in the 1st generation section since that is what you are looking at. I don't know much about them other than I believe that they are set up with quite a few less horses under the hood than a 2nd Gen. You may be able to pick up a newer one for about the same price, but they are getting harder to find.
Maybe one of the mods can move this for you so you can get some responses from those who know.

If you like the looks of the first gen it's ok but in my opinion you could pick up a secound gen easy for that amount and make lots more power.I just picked up a 95 for 6k with 130000 the body was a bit ruff but it's just getting broken in.
