If you have the 10 leaf packs you pretty much need to park a bulldozer on it to make it squat. 7 leaf with overloads will settle nicely with 1500 lbs on them.

what about leveling front ends?

It seems most Dodge CTD's have a slight to very noticable "nose-down" "rake" to them. My 93' sags in the front and the rear rides very high in the back unloaded. The only time is rides level is when I have a good sized load in the bed. I have been told that "re-arching" the front leaf springs 2.5" will level the pickup out and look much better. I will probably end up doing this method.

Ok, I'm obviously the only one here who believes this, but here goes. Pickups were designed to be level when loaded to whatever capacity they were deisgned for. Naturally, you are going to have some lift in the rear when empty. I think it just looks natural that way. Levelled pickups look like they're squatting in the rear, IMO. My mom got new front springs for her D350, but didnt do anything with the flat rears. It just looks odd with good fronts, and the exact same gap in the rear.

If you are looking to improve the ride of a 4x4, then I can understand, as that is a comfort issue.

one sugestion is to use the skyjacker 1" front springs instead of the 2-1/2". this would give a better ride and not change the way the truck sits as much. I have the 2-1/2" fronts and have added an add-a -leaf to the rear to get it to sit right. without rear lift the truck sat a little lower in the rear when not loaded.

ok im very mis understood here i guess! first off yes i checked i have the 7 leaf pack with no overloads, and it still takes a lot to level my truck out. and i do want the front end leveled. the rear of my truck sits about 2 or 2.5 inches higher then the rear and i want it to sit leveled all the time even when i haul or im unloaded. im looking for a kit that will level the front of my truck with the rear! and about the squatting im not too worried i found to air bags that will go under the rear same time as the lvlin kit.

The reason I feel that leveling the front end is something I want to do is because of the look. The rear fenderwell has so much excessive room and the front fenderwell has so much less. I have actually had people comment, "did you lift your pickup in the back" and "your front leaf springs must be really bagged out to look like that". To add to it, I run smaller sized, skinny tires on the pickup. I don't really worry about what it will look like with a load. My pickup is just a daily driver, not a work truck. The things I haul usually are groceries, furniture, hunting/fishing/camping gear, large auto parts, lumber, etc. At this point I only tow car trailers and maybe a boat to the lake. I'm not really interested in lifting the pickup (I think I could invest that money someplace else on the pickup, performance/function). Anyway, the pickup is driven empty most of the time or light loads......I just want it to sit level.

A fellow 1st gen friend of mine has a 93' W250 club cab. He wanted his pickup to look level also. He told me he accomplished this by taking off his front factory springs and having them re-arched at a spring shop. I've seen a few of these shops around, they specialize in this work and also can make new ones. He had this company re-arch them 2.5" and they made the pickup ride perfect when re-installed. I'm seriously considering this option.
