I have an 05 and put the spacers in.. I did install new shocks but at the time was told it was not necessary.. same spring same ride.. Shocks made a huge difference...

Yesterday I insatlled a set of KORE springs in dslchk_cowgirls truck.. used the stock shocks and didn't seem to be a problem.. She said the ride was 100% better.. Drop her a PM about the ride..

Went in real easy I think we had them done in a little over 2 hours with regular hand tools..

I have installed the skyjacker leveling springs on several trucks with good results. Best price I have found is from Summit at: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

No special tools. A small floor jack helps compress the spring, but that's all.

I did the springs on mine and got a set made for me by Custom Spring Specialties. I ordered them 2" over-stock at the same rate as the stock spring. Cost me around $200, but what a difference! All you need to make the order is the numbers off the spring tags ... different numbers for each spring.

I got my info. from Cowhand who knows his stuff when it comes to suspension. From what I've been told, these springs far surpass Skyjacker's. I don't believe Skyjacker makes a 2WD spring, do they? When I was shopping, all I could find were the poly spacers ... could be wrong though!

Question - To the guys who did the spring swap.. let us know if you have any type of sag. I know Old man Emu springs were famous for sagging in toyota 4runners...so hopefully these other manufactures dont sag. The reason I ask is.. I would rather swap out coils instead of putting in coil spacers.

Cheers!

I did this August, 2005, and have not had a problem with sagging. I am using KYB MonoMax shocks with this setup ... just as good as when I installed them!

I have the custom coils from CSS and Bilstein 5100"s. The springs are 2" over stock and the same rate. Huge improvement in appearance and performance.
Guaranteed by CSS not to sag.
