Installed levelin kit and...
So i started my project hoping that all would go well. But disaster soon hit. To start off, the shock stud nuts were rusted on and so i decided i would just pull the towers out with the shocks still attached so i could get more room to work on it. Next i broke three shock tower bolts and i figured no biggy im replacing them with the 2" spacer, but no i was wrong someone or maybe factory( but probably not) tack welded the bolts to the original coil housing instead of it being a ring with them welded to it. what is with that? so after torching the tacks and heating the bolts up to pound them out, it did start to get easier and the rest went fine. Oh and one other problem i think i got a lil aggresive when creating space to put the spacer in and bent the sway bar end links pretty bad. but i will get some replacements and just wanted to report that the extremely good ride from the bilsteins was more than worth it.
no its 9 different settings but as it turns out the 7th one is the harder on the dyno from what I hear. I think bob told me that they didnt have (beta) the software setup to where the different levels change at the right incraments.
its 4 wheel drive im trying to get that cleared up with this leveling kit and thinking of pulling this body molding off. haha is that 2 or 4 wheel drive thats what i was asking myself before the leveling kit
