hey guys i was given a leveling kit (for a 03) and was wonderin if it will work with my 01. All it is is the front springs. I tried the local shop and they said it should work but i dont want to pay the money if the springs wont lift it enough or if they will lift to much. Just let me know what you think

 

I would hate to tell you they are the same, but ive put on about 6 or 7 leveling kits ( spacers ) and the springs look the same. The spacers will fit a 2nd or 3rd gen so the width is the same but I dont know for sure if the springs are the same length. The springs are not hard to install at all with basic hand tools. My record is 1 hour 10 minutes with power tools.

Should be the same. The leveling kit in my 96 came off an 05.

 

was your kit springs or just the spacers? Was the kit the right amount of lift?

 

I would think they would be the same. But if any issues occur I don't think it'll be if it lifts it high enough. If you can't do it yourself ask your local lift shop to just try one side to help keep it cheap. Mention how you don't want to pay for labor on a set-up that works. Maybe they'll help you out by just trying the one side.

 

They were spacers and yes, the right amount of lift.
