Bully Dog Outlook OBD-II Cable/Connector

Can the Outlook be used without the OBDII cable/connector or is this part a vital item in monitoring the various engine information and data....

THANKS!

I was wondering the same thing, I think it gets the info from the data link conector under the hood but gets power from the OBD connector. I have an outlook but dont use it because I dont like having it hooked into the OBD.

no it has to be hooked up all the time, at least if you want to use it as a set of gauges. if you unplug it it turns off

By this you mean the ODBII cbale has to be plugged in, at all times, to the ODBII data port.......correct?

And, without the OBDII, the Outlook will not function or read any info?
