Leaking Getrag
You can just remove the yoke 1 3/16" I think, then drive a drywall screw on two sections of the seal ring pull the seal out, clean well the area and install a new seal (I use a little permatex black on the outer ring of the seal for good insurance some may disagree but works excellent for Me), make sure You check the yoke where the seal rides on see if there isn't a grove from the seal pressure on it.
Do not remove the tail housing as it contains the shims that keep the transmission together, maybe not so easy to put back with it being horizontal.

Now that You bring this up, I put a short vent hose with a cap on mine (not in this picture) since it used to leak oil through this vent when I overfilled it to 5qt, nice and dry now.

Was under my truck today and cleaned most of the gunk off the top of my getrag but could not find a vent in the position in the photo above. Is there other versions of the getrag that have a different vent location?
