How long ago did the dealer fix it? If it was recent, it could be residual oil laying in the axle tubes, which hasn't finished running out yet- that happens. Or, perhaps they damaged the new seals when they put the axles back in.
I would assume that you can pull the axle out without taking the outer knuckle off.

Sounds like damaged seals. It can happen.
Even if the truck is out of warranty, they should stand behind the work they did only a year ago.

Work was done 8 months ago and the dealer that I had it repaired at said your truck is off warranty now for powertrian and the dealer its self has a pathetic 3 month warranty from date of repair. Still asked if i wanted to book it in for repair..... and I said no thanks, I wont give you a 2nd chance to screw it up again.

my dodge dealer will not warranty warranty work. they said this is how all dealers work. funny thing is my wifes xterra was getting out of warranty work done on a warranty repair. they said it was impossible so i showed them the paperwork, they didnt have much to say after that and just blamed dodge. frustrating.
