Leaking fuel filter
Leaking fuel filter
So my buddy has a 91 w250 and the fuelfter housins was leaking from where you drain the water. We got a complete new housing from dodge and replaced it. Fired it up still leaking. Leaks a lot. With pressure
Are you certain that the leak is not originating from the fuel-heater immediately above the filter and running down the sides of the filter ??
If it is, in fact, the water-drain, throw that mess on the shelf and replace the entire filter with one of the many solid-bottom fuel-filters.
I use FleetGuard FS1221 fuel-filters when I can get them.
There are many others.
That water drain and silly water-in-fuel light business is only good for creating more problems, anyway.

My leak was the o-ring between the heater and the filter bracket. Cost about $1.95 at Cummins. I've never had a problem with the water drain, and the drain and warning light were really helpful when I got some water in the fuel once.
